I am in sales for more than 20 years. I had lots of sales training over those years so I definitely knew what to do and how to sell BUT my average deal and volume for the year never seemed to change much. It was always the same type of client I attracted, spending the same type of money.

Regardless of what I was trying, how many courses on product knowledge or closing I attended, I was kept at a certain size volume, with some months better than others.

That wasn’t very satisfying of course and created a lot of frustration in me because I knew I could do much better, especially with all the knowledge about sales I had.

Things finally turned around when I ventured out to find that edge to bring me to the next level. When I found my mentor and applied his proven methodology everything changed.

I realized that I used to sit across a prospect already assuming that they wouldn’t buy the big product so either I didn’t offer it to them or I pitched it badly. And no surprise, they didn’t buy.

I created momentum and my business and sales have been growing ever since.
