The Mind Ur Business Music Conference is an educational and networking opportunity for music industry hopefuls, which encourages the artists to become better educated in the business and marketing aspect of the industry and to prepare them for achieving and sustaining national and global success. Mind Ur Business Music Conference takes a unique approach by streamlining the activities into a one day event; focusing on the most pertinent information regarding how to break into the music industry. The benefits to a one day conference are that it is affordable and convenient and does not require lodging or commuting over several days. Other conferences can be redundant and prolonged over days by placing parties and networking events in between panels, workshops and other important information. At our event, relevant information is the only focus and the entire conference is the networking experience, with breaks and after-parties that can be utilized for additional networking. Our one day conference cuts costs in half. The workshops offer; direct Q&A on targeted topics with a panel of industry professionals and reputable artists, song demo critiques and artist showcases, all before industry experts and recognizable names.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There are no ID requirements unless your tickets proves problematic. If you register under an artist name be prepared to show tangible proof such as promotional materials. Artists over the age of 14 are preferred. All minor must be registered and accompanied by parent or guardian. Please contact us in advance @ firstname.lastname@example.org
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is free on the street in downtown Wilmington. There are also parking lots in close proximity to venue. The Dart Bus runs throughout Delaware. Septa local trains run from Philadelphia and NJ Transit local trains both arrive at Wilmington's Amtrak Station blocks away from venue. Xinnix bus services runs between New York and Wilmington to downtown Wilmington near venue. (Gotobus.com)
What can/can't I bring to the event?
You are strongly encouraged to use the knapsack approach. Bring a pen and paper, media assets, small portable equipment such as laptops, iPads, CD's. press kits, memorabilia, books, flyers, DVDs, business cards etc. Please note that you may share and pass out materials but may not set-up materials unless you are a registered exhibitor.

Am I guaranteed a showcase?
There are many opportunities to display your talents at MUBM Conference. The 2 major showcase events are the Performance and Short Film/video showcases. You are required to pay submission fee which includes your entrance into the conference but does not guarantee a showcase. Choose your preferred showcase ticket and purchase before submitting material. (Deatails Below) If you do not make the showcase, you may sign up for song critique or The 16 Bar Cyhper at the event on a first come first serve basis.
Can I update my registration information?
No. Please be sure to enter accurate information before confirming purchase and print your ticket to bring to event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You must have your ticket as proof of purchase.
What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds unless the event is cancelled.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
If you register with your legal name you may be required to show ID. If you register under an artist name be prepared to show tangible proof such as promotional materials. Also, If you are registering for a showcase, please make sure the name you use for registration and the name you write in the subject box match.
