Description

Join the Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities and our partners this fall for the 5th Annual Upper Mill Creek Cleanup.

On Saturday, September 23, we'll clean up the Mill Creek by land and canoe. Land volunteers will meet at Twin Creek Preserve in Sharonville at 9:00 a.m. where folks will be organized into teams to tackle various sites including parks and stream-side properties throughout the Upper Mill Creek watershed. Canoe volunteers will meet and launch at the SR-747 bridge over the Mill Creek at 8:00 a.m.

The cleanups will occur in and along the stream, so be prepared for walking through thick brush and getting muddy. Please dress appropriately and wear closed toe footwear. The land cleanup is suitable for people of all ages and activity levels. Canoe volunteer spaces are limited and available only to members of the public age 18 or older. All cleanup crews will meet back at Twin Creek Preserve around noon to unload their spoils, enjoy some refreshments, and tell grand stories of their exploits.

Don’t miss this opportunity to help keep your streams clean and communities beautiful!

Please RSVP by registering here. Registrations must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21st. Contact Deb Beck with questions about the event at 513-563-8800 or dbeck@millcreekwatershed.org.
