From page one to done: Learn the steps to complete your screenplay

This 4 week course is for the writer who has an idea, maybe some pages written, but not a complete draft. Instructor will go over 3 act structure and will help participants craft a plan to complete the draft. Come ready to take notes, workshop scenes and walk out with a plan to finish your screenplay.

Meet your Instructor:

Julia Camara is a Brazilian writer/filmmaker. Camara teaches Screenwriting at UCLA Extension Writers’ Program and at Sundance Co//ab. She was the Advisor in Residence over the summer of 2022, meeting with the Sundance Co//ab community members to provide career and writing advice. Camara was also a mentor for the 2022 Sundance Screenwriting Labs.She has written and directed several award-winning short films. Her feature directorial debut In Transit, an experimental drama shot mostly in one day and with improvised dialogue, won Best Experimental Film at four different festivals.
