Middle school students from Richland School Dist. One and Richland School Dist. Two will participate in an academic competition like no other. Students from these two neighboring school districts will demonstrate their Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics skills in a series of rigorous activities that will spark their competitive intellect.
Projects are conceived, planned and executed by teams of up to 3 students and can include scientific research, community and environmental projects, educational outreach, technology development or applications, participation in STEM-related competitions and more.
Once schools have registered their teams, you will be sent an email to submit the names of the students that will participate in each challenge. Only 3 students will participate per team. Students may participate up to 3 challenges. Only 3 schools will be chosen from each district. Registration ends Friday, Febuary 24, 2017.
Who may participate: The STEM Challenge is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students from Richland School Dist. One and Richland School Dist. Two.
