The PossePlus Retreat is a space where students, faculty and staff come together to discuss a topic relevant to our community.
In January 2019, the president will deliver the State of the Union address. In the weeks following, 56 colleges across the country will hold their 2019 PossePlus Retreat: The State of Our Union.
We are facing a pivotal moment of unparalleled contradictions: An increasingly diverse society torn by intense polarization. Record-breaking profits and stagnant wages. The rebirth of urban centers amid the rise of gentrification. Technological advances and the degradation of our environment.

FAQs
How do I get to the retreat?
Transportation will be provided for all students. Buses will leave from Batell Circle at 4:30 pm SHARP on Friday and return to campus by 1:00 pm on Sunday. Please arrive early in order to check in before boarding onto a bus.
Faculty and staff are responsible for their own transportation. We encourage carpooling.
What should I bring to the retreat?
Please bring toiletries, warm comfortable clothing, water bottles, and extra snacks for yourself.
