"For me healing most times begins in the physical creation of what I feel. I'm interested in figuring out the ways of my world, and continuing to share that process through music and art."
Paris Alexa has been writing music and singing since she was very young. She won the Reflections Art contest for the state of Washington at just 9 years old and has been singing and writing ever since. Many say that great songwriting is a lost art. Paris is the real deal- her songs have the ability to touch people in a deep way. She has been fortunate to work with amazing mentors and instructors . She studied vocal with Lynn Broyles (Adam Lambert – season 8 American Idol finalist ) Bernadette Bascom (Recording Artist and Vocal Coach to Sanjaya Malakar- Season 6 American Idol Finalist) . Additionally she has been mentored by songwriter and guitarist Jeff Gitelman and many others.
Alaji Marie is a Detroit native storyteller focused on acting and writing. She has been seen performing at theatre's such as Seattle Repertory, ACT, and West of Lenin to name a few. She is currently touring with Taproot theatre's Christmas production around Washington!
