Event description

Description

The Melanin minds brings you an exclusive event of debate and cheap drinks to see us in to Black History month!

£5 early bird. £10 on the door.

We welcome you, our delightful audience to hear and share perspectives on critical issues surrounding relationships, gender and sexuality in a black context. Listen, be merry and even have the opportunity to join in with our specialist panel, as we facilitate the rare chance to challenge normativity, addressing the black experience.

Everyone is welcome and we encourage our diverse audience to get involved and be a part of the debate, so don't be shy to interact and ask questions.

We hope to see you there for what we know we will be a unique and insightful happy hour experience!

This event is wheelchair accesible.

Questions to be discussed:

  1. Is monogamy the only viable way of engaging in relationships?

  2. Is the black community accommodating of gender neutrality?

  3. Can sexuality be discussed/explored without considering race ?
