Free Research Event

We are the Luton, Mid, South & East Essex and Herts Valley Primary Care and Community research team. We are from the research division of the NHS, and help local GP practices / Schools / Care homes (every place which isn't a hospital!) in carrying out clinical research.

This event is open to all families and individuals who are interested in taking part in clinical research or simply enjoying a fun afternoon at The Mega Centre Rayleigh

Yes! On arrival you receive a wristband, which will get you a free drink and free snack. However, with the studies on offer some require saliva samples for which you cannot eat or drink an hour before, so please do not do so before hand and take the chance to enjoy your free refreshments instead!

No pre-registration is required, but you will be given information and can choose to take part in studies on the day if you are interested. Yes! There will be opportunities for both adults and children to participate in research studies during the event.

Booking details will be available on the event website, and spaces are limited so we recommend booking early. You can also secure your place by scanning the QR code on the event poster.

Absolutely! This is a family friendly event and children are encouraged to attend. Please make sure to include them when booking tickets and coach spaces.
