You’re not alone.
Whether you’re attracted to transgender women, have a son or daughter who is transgender, or a transgender sibling or parent, many men are sorting through the same issues you are. You are alright and you’re doing well. But your experiences are exclusive to you because you’re a man and can only be understood by men like you.
- Trans-attracted men: You are not gay. Your attraction is normal.
- Trans-involved men: Your transgender child, parent or sibling chose a path that is right and just. You can find honor and joy participating in their experience.
- All men in the lives of transgender people: You are unique. Let’s celebrate that uniqueness.
For the first time in history men like you are going to gather. Come share your stories, connect, and together alight the positive, supportive, loving nature of Who You Are.

Portland is typically ranked among the top five trans-friendly cities in the United States. Two years ago, Nerdwallet ranked Portland as the second most LGBT-friendly city, second only to San Francisco. Pride.com recently listed Oregon among the six best trans-friendly cities, with Portland leading all Oregon cities.
Summer is beautiful here and there is a wide variety of things to do including visiting local outdoor attractions, eating at one of several hundred food carts or restaurants. In fact there's something for everyone in Portland's food scene. In town, there so many popular tourist sites, it's hard to do them all justice. And in the summer is when Portland really shines. Google it and you'll find Portland is a fantastic place to spend a weekend attending our conference and then spending your free time in the city. Who knows? You might even meet one of the thousands of transgender women who live here!
Are there going to be transgender women there?
Yes and no. Transamorous Network co-hosts Remy Ilmatar and Shannon Scott will be attending. But the event is not for transgender women. It's for men exclusively so they can talk about issues related to men who are interested in transgender women in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You should be at least 18 to participate in the conference
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
All major air carriers fly out of Portland's International Airport. From there, there is a very inexpensive, clean and pleasant light rail system that will take you directly to our listed hotels (in our registration packet). You can also catch a bus, taxi, or one of the private-driver services. There is no free parking at the event, but parking in the building where the event is located is only $5 a day on the weekend. We encourage you to take public transportation as it's easy and convenient.
What can I bring into the event?
You don't need to bring anything but an open mind and the registration materials. Recording the event is not permitted.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What's the refund policy?
Your money is refundable 30 days before the event.
What's the agenda?
There will be workshops, open discussion, exploratory opportunties and opportunities for networking. Our workshops are designed to have you leave the conference feeling empowered, relieved and clear that you are normal, that your desires are normal and that you are not alone. More details will come as we build the agenda!
