For those who want to compete in the Game Jam and hopefully win – follow these rules!
- Teams can be of unlimited sizes, but team numbers will be taken into account when judging entries
- You and/or your team must submit a playable game prototype to be considered for judging – this can be very simple, or very complicated – it’s just got to run and be interactive
- There is no specific theme for the game – just work on whatever inspires you!
- Your submission must have a 3D component made using Maya LT or one of our other 3d Applications – 2D sprites/backgrounds are OK, as long as they have been generated using 3D
- As well as Maya LT, you must useone of the following products to produce your game: Scaleform for Mobile, Marmalade, PlayCanvas or Simplygon – all access isfree and available from the links supplied.
- Any platform is OK with us – as long as it runs and we can play it, you’re entry is good
- End results cannot be released commercially, without prior permission from Autodesk, Play Canvas, Simplygon and Marmalade.
- Competition closes at midnight on Friday 20th June
