Event description

Description

Calling all mothers, caregivers, and nurturers who lovingly (or not) give and give and give.

Raise your hand if you could use an afternoon of feeling connected, loved, uplifted and inspired. Yeah, me too.

For most of us, transitioning into the new school year means everyone else's needs get amplified while ours get taken off the back burner and put back in the freezer. Let's make this year different. Let's design a way for you to take care of your own needs (the deep ones) without guilt. Let me show you the magic that happens when you are truly taking care of yourself.

In this 3 hour workshop, we'll:

  • look at how our current self-care perspective is helping or hurting ourselves and those we love.
  • create a revised definition of self-care
  • create an action plan for a happier more fulfilled you.
  • learn how to shut down feelings of guilt and selfishness

You'll be so glad you came!

Side note: Some of you are really going to want to come. You're going to think "Yes! I need this" and then you are going to think of the logistics and all of the family needs you have to meet, and then you're going to say, "but I can't make it work." If this is you, I would challenge you to try an experiment; put yourself first this one time. Let it be inconvenient for others. Let them be a little disappointed. You've been inconvenienced and disappointed plenty of times. You survived and so will they. Just trust me that in the long run, taking care of yourself is better for everyone. It's life changing in the best way for you and for your people.

My Commitment to Community:
I believe that we belong to each other. I believe the world only gets better when we change our mindset from What's best for me to what's best for us? I want all of my success, no matter how big or small to benefit the local community. I want us to rise together. That's why a percentage the profits from every event I host are donated to a local nonprofit organization.

Twenty percent of the profits from this event will be donated to support the mission of Bad Dog Arts. http://www.baddogarts.org/
