Description

Join us on Thursday, May 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the Hartland High School Auditorium for a community presentation of StraightTALK. Livingston County welcomes WAI-IAM, Inc. in StraightTALK. This presentation is a mother and son from the Lansing, MI. area that will take you into the world of a mother raising a child that becomes a heroin addict and alcoholic - and expose you to the events that lead to the co-dependency and agony this family faced during the years of addiction. You will hear the dramatic and captivating story, told from the viewpoint of both Corey Warren and his mother Jacque Liebner, and you will also learn what tools they used to find health and peace.

StraighTALK will also incorporate live music from a band of individuals in recovery, a short film made by Corey himself, and a dance that will visually show you how people in recovery can reach out and rescue individuals who have become lost in the world of addiction. Driven by a decade of gut-wrenching misery, you are sure to be captivated by the HOPE this mother-son duo brings into the world today by the way of their true-life story, through this StraightTALK presentation, to help an audience understand addiction and recovery.

We invite all members of the community to join us for this impactful and informative presentation.
