The Little Mermaid: ESRT's 4th Annual Theatre on the Bluff
Sat, May 13, 2017, 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM CDT
For the 4th Annual Theatre on the Bluff, ESRT will bring the full Broadway version of Disney’s The Little Mermaid to Henry George Park in Fairhope. Shows will begin at sunset on May 11-13, 2017.
Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney's The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."
All shows begin at 7:30 p.m., and gates to the bluff will open at 6:30 each evening. Patrons should bring their own blanket or lawn chair, and picnics are encouraged. Concessions will also be available for sale.
Tickets are on sale now at www.easternshorerep.org and can also be purchased at the gate the night of the show.
Tickets are valid only for the date printed on the ticket. If ESRT must cancel a performance due to weather, tickets for the cancelled performance will be valid for our rain date performance Sunday, May 14, 2017, 7:30 p.m. at Henry George Park in Fairhope, weather permitting. All tickets are non-refundable.
