The Listening Circle – Community Talks (Inaugural Event)
Come join us at the Historic Courthouse Port Macquarie at 35 Hay St for an evening of open discussions and shared experiences at The Listening Circle – Community Talks event!
A community for exploring energy and mental healing through shared perspectives.
The Listening Circle is a coming together of like-minded people to explore and expand their understanding with curiosity — a shared experiment in presence, respect, and learning through listening, allowing many perspectives to be heard without needing to be resolved in the moment.
Purpose
The Listening Circle is a community space for people interested in alternative, energy, and mental healing modalities, practices, and related lived experiences. Our purpose is to listen openly to one another’s experiences and understandings, broadening our perspectives through presence and reflection — not debate or persuasion. We come together to create a respectful, contemplative space where diverse viewpoints can be heard, held, and considered.
Meeting Format
Each gathering follows a simple rhythm:
Opening & Welcome — A brief grounding and reminder of listening principles.
Featured Presentation — One or two individuals share their personal story, understanding, or experience of a particular modality, practice, or healing perspective (approximately 20–30 minutes total). This may include personal journey, background principles, and demonstrations to aid understanding.
Silent Pause — A short period of quiet to allow what has been shared to “land.”
Open Social Time — An informal space to mingle, chat, and connect in small groups.
BYO - Cup and Tea - we will supply the hot water :-)
