The Life is Priceless Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization based in New York, NY. The foundation’s mission is to provide grants to the medical community and social services for the research and treatment of depression and suicide prevention.
The LIPF’s founder Timothy B. Price, created the foundation after losing his younger brother, David Vincent Price, to suicide after a severe battle with depression. “Depression is one of the most well documented medical conditions worldwide yet the least spoken about due to societal taboo. When you consider 1 in 4 are affected by mental illness in some way, you can begin to understand how we as a society are still ashamed or afraid to talk about depression and mental illness. That's why I started The Life is Priceless Foundation.”
