Event description

Description

Many children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) struggle with co-occurring challenges, like GI issues, seizures, ADHD, anxiety, or motor issues. Managing and treating these requires an understanding of the conditions, but also a knowledge of how kids with ASD may have different presentations than kids without ASD. A panel of experts in pediatrics, neurology, psychiatry, and gastroenterology at NYU Langone discuss Autism Spectrum Disorder and co-occurring conditions, and how to work with the whole child with ASD.
