 SPEAKERS BIOGRAPHIES

Evangelist Nathan Morris - After many years of running from God, Nathan Morris gave his life to Jesus Christ in 2002 when he had a life changing encounter with the presence of God.

God placed a passion in his heart to preach the Gospel to the lost. Initially, Nathan began preaching on the streets of England and in his father’s church. During the first few years, many people began to travel from all parts of the United Kingdom to experience the tangible presence of God in his services. It became evident that Nathan would minister the Gospel not only on the streets, but to the masses.

In 2006, Nathan launched Shake The Nations Ministries and began to travel to the nations. The first STN Gospel Campaigns were held in remote areas of Africa and India. In these meetings, the STN team witnessed thousands of Muslims and Hindus convert to Christianity in just the first two years of the ministry. Numerous documented miracles took place, with the blind, deaf and crippled all testifying to their healing.

In 2010, Evangelist Nathan joined with Pastor John Kilpatrick and Church of His Presence for what has become known as the Bay Revival. In these meetings, thousands of salvations and notable healings were reported. The Bay Revival was broadcast on GOD TV to over 200 nations around the world and countless lives were touched by God’s Spirit.

We praise God that through Shake The Nations, thus far thousands of people have made decisions for Jesus Christ in person. We may never know how many have given their lives to Christ through Christian Television and other media venues.

Today, Evangelist Nathan and his wife, Rachel, reside in Central Florida. Along with the Shake The Nations team, they travel around the world with a burning passion to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations and to see the power of the Holy Spirit demonstrated through signs, wonders, and miracles.

Pastor Steve Uppal -  Pastor Steve has been the Senior Leader at All Nations, Wolverhampton, since 2001. He is well-known locally, regionally, and nationally as an anointed and inspiring speaker. Steve has a growing apostolic ministry amongst a number of churches that look to him as a wise father or master builder. The All Nations movement is a network based on relationship, not an organisation. Some congregations are becoming campuses or locations of All Nations Church; while others are separate but have growing links, sharing wisdom and teaching. Steve has a passion for the local church as God’s means of working in the world and as Jesus’ bride. He has a passion for local churches to be built into relational networks to be well-founded and fruitful.

Throughout its history, All Nations Church has been committed to the full Gospel and to serving the community, especially those at the margins. All Nations’ vision now encompasses nations across the globe: “for all people to glorify God through knowing Christ, becoming like Christ and making Christ known.” Steve and All Nations Church have established strong links in several other countries, particularly in North India, where there is a base for training and works of compassion and outreach.

Steve’s preaching and example are focused on pressing into the presence of God, helping believers live life to the full as part of a local church, living intentionally, and seeking God. Intimacy with God and total dependence upon the Holy Spirit are keys to seeing the Kingdom advance.  His books and broadcasts on Christian radio and TV have already helped many to rise up into their God-given calling and inheritance.

Steve is married to Esther, who is also a senior pastor at the church, and they have four children: Bethany, born in 1998; Sophia, born in 2000; Joel, born in 2003; and Judah, born in 2005. Family life is a priority for Steve. “If faith does not work at home, it is not true biblical faith,” he says.

Pastor Glyn Barrett - Born in Manchester, Glyn’s family moved to Australia when he was two.
He graduated in Theology from Alpha Crucis College in Sydney, Australia in 1995, married Sophia, and then moved back to England in 1996 to pioneer a youth and young adult ministry in Sheffield.  Glyn is a powerful and sought-after communicator and his messages and motivational teaching continue to inspire people of all generations throughout the world.

Glyn travels extensively, communicating in many and varied forums and can always be found trying to convert people to Manchester City Football Club!  Another of Glyn’s passions, besides his family, is his motorbike and coffee.

Pastor Jon Colyer - At the age of just six, Jon Colyer was supernaturally called into ministry at the Westminster Central Halls. The vision for revival he received made God’s plan for his life clear, and he has passionately pursued that vision – revival in the western world – ever since. At 16, Jon moved to the Czech Republic just after the fall of Communism. For nine months, he held daily street crusades and had the privilege of seeing thousands of decisions for Christ as a result of the Gospel being preached and the miracles witnessed. Shortly after leaving Czech, Jon moved to America to attend Bible College. This is where he and Angela met, and they were married in 1997.

Upon graduating in ’96, Jon began to travel as a revival evangelist. One of the first churches at which Jon ministered experienced a powerful open heaven, and two days turned into two months as God moved in that place and the church exploded. Jon has continued to minister in that flow ever since, through his anointed ministry of the Word through preaching and prophetic song producing a powerful atmosphere for the hand of God. The fire of God continues to burn mightily in Jon. He has been described as a “young man with a contagious message”.  Jon won’t be satisfied until he sees entire cities shaken with the power of God.

Jon and Angela have been privileged to travel all over the world sharing the Gospel and the passion in their hearts for the kingdom of God. However, they have always known that Europe, and the United Kingdom in particular, was the place God had burned into their hearts. In November of 2005, at the Lord’s leading, Jon, Angela and their son Levi, moved from their home just outside of Niagara Falls, Canada to the Birmingham area. God had placed a dream in their hearts to plant Gateway Christian Centre – and to play their part in seeing “His kingdom come” to this continent.

About the Conference Worship Leader:

Lindell Cooley - Lindell Cooley first came to prominence in 1995 when a spiritual revival broke out at Brownsville Assembly of God Church in Pensacola, Florida. Cooley had recently become head of the church’s music and worship ministry, and over the next several years, as hundreds of thousands of people visited the church to be part of this profound move of God, they were deeply touched by Cooley’s sensitive and anointed worship. During this time Cooley penned many powerful worship songs, including “I Need You More,” which has been sung in countless churches and gatherings around the world.

Currently the pastor of Grace Church in Nashville, a work he pioneered in 2004, Cooley continues to travel the world ministering through his non-profit organization Music Missions International, a ministry dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music, ministry, and missions.
