Event Details

The Lean Startup Conference

On December 3 and 4, 2012, The Lean Startup Conference brings together innovators from startups and established companies alike to share lessons for building profitable lean organizations. With fresh case studies and talks from renowned practitioners, this event will help you jump-start your entrepreneurial practice or hone an existing one–whether you work for a startup or a mature company. We're adding new speakers every week; check our website for the latest.

This year, for the first time, we're including a day of workshops and site visits on December 4. We’re really proud to present the workshops, and we have detailed information about them on our site. Stay tuned for info on the site visits. Please note that to participate in the workshops, you must register for a Gold or Platinum Pass.

Two days of lean startup is good but 5 days are even better. We're excited to partner this year with 500 Startups' Warm Gun Design/UX conference and Lean Startup Machine to offer you a Platinum Pass for five incredible days of learning and networking in San Francisco.

Frequently Asked Questions

Main Conference: Monday, Dec 3rd -- 8:00am - 6:00pm

Workshops: Tuesday, Dec 4th -- 9:00am - 5:00pm

2) Does the $899 Lean Startup Conference ticket include workshops & site visits?

No, the conference ticket doesn’t include the second day of workshops & site visits. You’ll want to purchase the Gold Pass or the Platinum Pass to attend the second day of networking and learning.

3) If I’ve purchased the Platinum Pass, when do I get registration info for 500 Startups' Warm Gun Design/UX conference and Lean Startup Machine?

We’ll send you that information as soon as we receive it from our partners — hopefully, within a few weeks.

4) What is the preferred seating for the Platinum Pass?

We’ll have reserved, close-to-the-front-row seating for our Platinum Pass holders. So if you have a Platinum Pass, lucky you!

5) When will you announce speakers and the agenda?

We're confirming new speakers and mentors every week; learn about them on our website. To get additional information about speakers and other happenings, sign up for our newsletter by subscribing with your email at the bottom of this page. (Your email won’t be shared with anyone—ever.)

6) Are you offering any hotel discounts for conference attendees?

We sure are. Visit our Venue page for our discounted room booking link and more information.

7) Are there student discounts or volunteer opportunities?

Yes, we are offering student discounts. Please email melissa [dot] tinitigan [at] newcontext [dot] com for more information.

We can’t guarantee volunteer spots at this time so we urge you to register for your tickets while prices are still relatively low. We’ll give priority to students if we need volunteers at the event.
