Latigo Campout 2019

- Poster design by CrawlinCreep -

This year's radness includes: Two nights of camping alongside the mighty Kern River; live campfire jams from LA friends Old Time Machine; shuttle rides on Saturday for world-class mountain biking; and short drive up to Sequoia National Forest!

Proudly supported this time 'round by the excellent folks at MadeWest Brewing Company, Muir Energy, OtterBox and Better Booch.

We hosted the first Campout in 2017 in the beautiful Alabama Hills in the Eastern Sierra - a lovely experience where we helped curate activities (but forced nobody to abide by any set itinerary). That's the beauty of our Campout - you're free to DIY and roll with whatever sounds right for you! Feel free to go shred on local trails, relax in a hammock, hike amongst giant sequoias, or sip beer down at the brewery. Whatever floats your boat.

Please note:

- This is not an excuse to come party + disrespect our public lands. We aim to have a good clean time and celebrate a life better spent outdoors

- You MUST rsvp in order to secure a tent space + important email updates as the weekend approaches

- Campers to provide their own food, shelter (tent), water and supplies

Planning your visit:

Our campsite will be located just outside Kernville, CA (about a 3.5ish hour drive from Los Angeles). This is a slightly lower-elevation region of the Sierra Nevada - so while temperatures will definitely be cooler than peak summertime, it should still be excellent for outdoor activities during the day. Expect excellent #FallVibes.

Overnight temps will be frigid! Come prepared!

Kernville is a ridiculously cool little mountain town and we're excited to chill at Kern River Brewing after getting shred-tastical on local trails.

Bicycle Recs: We're aiming to ride local trails such as The Cannell "Plunge" and "Just Outstanding" (also the name of a delicious beer from Kern River Brewing) - both very close to the area we'll be camping. These are technical trails that require advanced MTB skill (full-suspension bikes are recommended). There are also plenty of mellower options for tourers + those just looking for a nice cruise - so don't feel like you have to slam Monster Energy to have a good time up there!

Any other questions: please email and we'll get back to you!
