THE LAST CHANCE RIDERS / JOHN PAGANO BAND

**********************************************************

The Last Chance Riders

Fronted by a soulful powerhouse vocal, captivating guitar hooks and face melting leads, Last Chance Riders delivers a timeless rock 'n roll, high-octane performance backed by an explosive rhythm section.

Inspired by The Allman Brothers Band, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Janis Joplin and David Bowie - the Last Chance Riders have a broad blend of influences that result in a unique sound that is their own. The band plays original music and stays busy constantly writing new material. After the release of their first studio album "Jet Lag Super Drag" on June 22nd, Last Chance Riders will be touring throughout the Southeast with a powerfully engaging live set.

The core band formed at a charity festival in Dahlonega, GA. Later in 2018 they joined forces with drummer, Shane Denmark and vocalist, Jessie Albright. Drawing on their exploration of numerous genres, their songwriting is inspired by driving classic guitar riffs with a southern rock vibe.

Self-financed, the band went into Sonica Studios with award winning producer John Briglevich, to put together eight songs including the single, "Downright Disgusted", which ties together common themes of the album with stories of hardship and endurance. Inspirational lyrics, passionate players and an unrelenting drive has brought The Last Chance Riders to the forefront of the Atlanta music scene.

John Pagano Band

“Thick Blues dripping over the edge of Rock”, is what the John Pagano Band has been described as. This Roots Rock band captures an old sound with a contemporary style. Formerly known as JPBlues, their release “I Will Not Go Quietly” was a very familiar name on the Roots Music Report Radio Charts hitting for a total of 28 weeks straight and at #4. The level heightened even more with the band’s follow up CD “Make Room at the Table” which was released in Sept 2013. The CD charted on RMR, crossed over into the Jam Band Radio Charts as well as being considered part of the, “Top 100 Blues CD’s of 2014”, by RMR. Also, appearing on “Make Room at the Table” are special guests Yonrico Scott and Todd Smallie (The Derek Trucks Band). In January 2015, John Pagano released a live CD calledn“Live at Darwin’s”. It charted at #1 in the U.S. for Blues/Rock airplay. Their newest release “One More Round” has topped the RMR Blues Charts and crossed over into Triple-A Radio. It is clear that John Pagano Band searing, soulful guitar gives hope to the rebirth of passion and soul in music!

John started playing guitar at the age of 10 on Long Island, New York and it was clear that something special was happening here. This “Something Special” was recognized by legendary bluesman Sam “Bluzman” Taylor. Sam took John under his wing and began to school him on the blues, or what Sam use to call “SAMerizing”. John toured the East coast with Sam’s band as a special guest for a few years. It was under Sam’s watchful eye that John began to flourish as a musician and a bluesman!

JPBlues formed in 2008 with band members Pat Adkins (Chuck Berry, Gary US Bonds) on Drums and John Young (Ryan Leslie) on Bass. While playing the circuit in New York as well as the east coast, they also recorded the band’s first two CD’s, “Die Happy” and “I Will Not Go Quietly.”

In 2011, John left the New York music scene and moved to Georgia. It is here that he met his former drummer Shiloh Bloodworth, and in 2013 they both were hired to back Australian artist Anni Piper (Blues Leaf Records) on her first U.S. tour. Later with the addition of Tony Hossri on Bass, John Pagano Band had formed a new power trio and hit the road for an East Coast Tour as well as tearing up the Southern Circuit. This Georgia based project released two more CD’s “Make Room at the Table” and, “Live at Darwin’s”. August 2017 was their latest release, "One More Round", which is the first album under the new band name. This is also their first album that crossed over into Triple-A Radio. In 2018, the band had their largest tour which included the U.S and Canada. Currently, they are touring and working on their next album with their new drummer Allen Parker.

John Pagano is endorsed by Epiphone and was voted by www.Truefire.com as one of their TOP 100 GUITARISTS “YOU SHOULD KNOW”! John has had the pleasure of either performing with or opening for such legendary artists as Pete Sears (Jefferson Starship), Phil Grande (Joe Cocker), , Dennis Innessibuw (Robert Plant), Gov’t Mule, Derek Trucks, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa, Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band), Yonrico Scott (Derek Trucks), Todd Smallie (Derek Trucks), Albert Castiglia.
