Description

Empowered Health & Wellness Workshops presents: The Language of Plants and Essential Oils!

Please join us on May, 13, 2017 from 9:30am-11:30am, for an incredible session of valuable education as we explore the world’s eight most common plant families through the eyes of a herbalist.

  • Why does doTERRA source and choose certain plants for their essential oils?

  • Botany on a beginner’s level will be discussed.

  • We will be your guide to learn more about the plants in the Medicinal Plant Garden at the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.

  • Discounted tickets to visit the Phipps Conservatory are $9.00 for Adults $6.00 for Children. Ticket has to be ordered and paid for before April 29th. The ticket will only be good for that day. To purchase tickets please email Lynn Wagner lawagner2@gmail.com

Lunch will be served across the street at The Schenley Park Café & Visitor Center.

After our event enjoy the Conservatory and the May Market at your leisure!

“Celebrate spring at the perennially popular May Market and National Public Gardens Day, a bustling marketplace where Phipps horticulturists, local garden clubs, nurseries, farms and other vendors come together for a plant sale of ultra-green proportions.”

*Please note May 13th is the Annual May Market on the grounds of the conservatory. (free and open to the public) Because of the popularity of the event parking is very limited. Phipps does offer valet parking that day for $10.00 per car. Vendors begin setting up at 8:30am. We suggest arriving early for our event. Registration will open at 8:45am.
