Description

The Lane Equity Coalition presents: Bridging Health & Poverty in Lane County

Join us on October 3rd to explore the health impacts of poverty in Lane County and learn about related tools that support the health of individuals and families currently living in poverty.

How does poverty impact health?

Poverty and health are closely related. Individuals and families living in poverty experience income instability, and thus, basic needs, including housing and food, instability. Without access to basic needs, health is threatened. Join us for an opportunity to better understand poverty – an economic, social, political, and health issue. Oregon advocates will explain the multidimensional nature of poverty, community members will share stories of resiliency, and Live Healthy Lane partners will share tools for supporting the health of individuals and families living in poverty.
