The lads in their hundreds
David John Pike, international baritone and former Albert College student, joins celebrated virtuosic Canadian pianist Matthew Larkin to perform a moving program of Remembrance to include songs from Butterworth's A Shropshire Lad, classics by Gurney, Vaughan Williams and Finzi, plus favourites like Tipperary, Keep the Homefires Burning and Roses of Picardy. The music will be complemented with evocative war poetry and journals presented by young people from the Belleville community.
