Event Details

"I shall have the pleasure of speaking on the political mission of lay Catholics and on the fight of our venerated founder, Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, for Christ the King."

                                                                                         Bishop Tissier de Mallerais

Dear Friends,

The 2011 Angelus Press Conference, The Kingship of Christ, (October 7 - 9) offers you and your loved ones a singular opportunity to grow in your faith and knowledge of the Catholic Church's essential doctrine of Christ the King.  This event promises to be a unique and valuable experience for all Catholics, young and old.

You are greatly encouraged to share the conference information far and wide!

Following on the tremendously successful 2010 conference and 40th anniversary celebration of the Society of St. Pius X, The Kingship of Christ includes a powerful cast of new presenters and a fresh array of subjects with His Excellency Bishop Tissier de Mallerais as keynote speaker!

Our additional speakers include:

  • Fr. Arnaud Rostand, District Superior for the United States
  • Fr. Juan-Carlos Iscara, professor of history at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary
  • Fr. Gerard Beck, first assistant to the District Superior
  • Fr. Albert, OP
  • Fr. Themann; John Rao, Ph.D., Professor of History at St. John’s University
  • Brian McCall, J.D., Professor of Law at the University of Oklahoma
  • Andrew J. Clarendon, M.A., Professor of History at St. Mary’s College
  • Christopher Check, Executive Vice President of The Rockford Institute

If you make one special trip this year for the Faith, let this conference be the reason!

No other event will engage Catholic laymen to pursue and establish the Kingship of Christ on earth, more than this 3 day gathering of friends and family, held once again at the beautiful Hilton Hotel near the Kansas City airport.

Consider the fascinating presentations and subject matter which aim to inspire Catholics to bring this knowledge into their own spheres of influence in the world - for the Kingship of Christ!

  • The Social Kingship of Christ according to Cardinal Pie, with Fr. Juan-Carlos Iscara
  • The Rosary and the Battle of Lepanto, with Andrew J. Carendon, M.A.
  • The Relationship of Church and State, with Brian McCall, J.D.
  • Quas Primas - Pius XI on Christ the King, with Fr. Daniel Themann
  • The Errors of the Modern World, with John Rao, Ph.D.
  • Archbishop Lefebvre: A Life for Christ the King, with His Excellency Bishop Tissier de Mallerais
  • The Queenship of Our Lady, with Fr. Albert, O.P.
  • The Cristeros and the Martyrs of the Mexican Revolution, with Christopher Check
  • Catholic Action: Whose Job Is It?, with His Excellency Bishop Tissier de Mallerais
  • A Call for Today's Crusade, with Fr. Gerard Beck
  • Conclusion and Summary, with Fr. Arnaud Rostand

In addition, Holy Mass will be celebrated at the Hilton Hotel, both Friday and Saturday.  The Holy Rosary will be said, followed by Dinner with Bishop Tissier de Mallerais on Saturday evening.

A Pontifical High Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, October 9, at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Kansas City, MIssouri. (Shuttles provided)

Dear friends, The Kingship of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a doctrine which Archbishop Lefebvre held dear, has been attacked in the decades following the Second Vatican Council.  Come learn of this essential doctrine, its denial by the enemies of the Church, and what you, your family and friends can do to work for its restoration!

Here are just a few comments from last year's conference attendees:

“A stellar success — worth every penny. My wife and I will be back next year.”

“I was impressed by the level of professionalism exhibited in these conferences. The 40-year celebration was well-planned and a joy to attend. Congratulations."

“This is an event no Catholic should miss. It was truly the high-point of my year.”

“The talks were among the most profound and edifying I’ve ever heard.”

“I’ve never been more impressed by the quality of talks at a conference.”
