What am I paying for?

We believe the amount of services and offerings happening at the festival from live music, guest speakers, workshops, activities, self care in the receiving tent, and access to all the wonderful people who are leading us into a kinder world is valued way above our ticket price! We hope you'll come experience it and see for yourself! We also want to bring this festival back year after year! So help us make this first festival a success!

Do kids have to pay for the event?

We have family packages with a limit of up to 6 kids per package. You can then purchase individual tickets or another family package depending on the size of your group.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?

All ages are encouraged to come join the festivities!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is available parking near the Willis Tucker Admin Building AND additional parking on the other side of the NEW Multi Use Field. You can also find plenty of street and neighborhood parking! But walking or biking would be encouraged if possible!

Is there food and alcohol at this event?

There will be Food Vendors but NO alcohol. No beer garden but there will be a Kombucha garden!

Can pets come?

Pets are NOT allowed onto the festival grounds per Park and Recreation rules and regulations. Sorry.

How should I be dressed for this event?

We will have several optional activities that will require movement. If you think you might participate in any of the exercise, yoga, massages, dance, or other free activities then dress comfortably!

What should I bring to the event?

If you want to participate in one of our couple yoga sessions (morning and afternoon) then you might want to bring a yoga mat. Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses for protection from the sun! A reusable waterbottle as there will be places to fill up your water. A spray bottle to keep yourself cool throughout your stay. A blanket if you decide to take a break on the grass in front of the music stage. Lastly, a reusable bag for all the things you might be taking home with you. Be prepared to spend a big chunk of your day here! There will be lots to do!

Is everything free at this event?

We will have a "Receiving Tent" with free services like music, massage, exercise, art, reiki and more. We'll also have a kids play area where most activities will be free. In addition sponsors have been invited to offer a free "kind experience" at their booth! However, there will also be vendors and artists selling their awesome goods! Each vendor will handle purchases differently so be prepared with both cash and/or card.

Will there be water available?

Yes! In fact we have a water sponsor who will be offering free fill ups so BYOWB (bring your own water bottle) and help save the environment from plastic water bottles!

Can I still apply to be a vendor, artist, or sponsor of your festival?

We are accepting applications through July 14th. Go to our website to download an application.

Can I offer a free service at the festival?

The attendees would love that! We are especially looking for massage, nail care, salon treatments, reiki, and other personal care services. Email us at info@thekindfest.com for more information.

Are there opportunities to volunteer?

Yes, please go to our website and fill out our volunteer form! It takes a community to put on this event so we would gladly accept more help now, the week before the event, and/or the day of the event.

What's the refund policy?

No refunds, sorry. Your payment will help support us in making this festival happen year after year! It's going to a good cause!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can bring a printed ticket or show us the barcode scan on your mobile device. An email confirmation is NOT a ticket, a barcode scan WILL BE required in order to scan at the entrance.

Will I be able to re-enter if I leave the event?

Yes, you will be given a stamp for re-entry
