Event description

Description

Every quarter, United Way will be striving to offer our public policy advocates ongoing learning opportunities. For our “Q1 educational presentation”, we’ll be discussing the importance of data when building a public policy platform. A key component of being an advocate is gathering impactful data that brings attention to our community’s most prominent issues.

Over the next year, United Way will be rolling-out a new data and information system, allowing community partners to clearly understand and collectively address barriers to health and human services.

Tentative Schedule
7:30 a.m. | Networking and light breakfast items
7:45 a.m. | Presentation on data and public policy, with speaking roles from United Way’s data analyst and CEO
8:25 a.m. | Q&A
8:30 a.m. | Program concludes

This breakfast is made possible by the Annie E. Casey Foundation grant for policy and advocacy work across Ohio’s diverse communities. Please feel free to share this opportunity with individuals you believe would be interested in attending.
