   Your Questions Live!
   A Screenwriting Webinar
   Brought to You by
   Final Draft, Inc.
   and Script magazine

Building a TV career from scratch takes time and dedication, resourcefulness and talent. These two writers have worked in many different genres of television, and have learned from experience how to go from pitching scripts to running shows.

Final Draft, Inc. has a chance to ask to pro television writers for advice on how to break in and stay in the business of writing for the small screen.

During this informative webinar, we will ask the questions you need to know, like:

• What are the key differences between pitching TV and features?

• How do you get representation as a television writer?

• How do you get on staff on a television show?

• How do you get a job writing for a reality show - and if it is reality, why are there writers?

• How do you pitch an idea for a new television show?

• What kinds of spec television scripts should writers be writing now?

As an aspiring screenwriter, you've asked these questions on message boards, at conferences, and to consultants. But now is your chance to ask two working television writers what you need to know about pitching, selling, and getting staffed in today's industry.

Don't miss this opportunity to find out what working television writers Aaron GInsburg and Amy Berg advise for writers who want to break into the business, and how you can use this knowledge to get the most out of your career.

Register now to ensure your spot at the live webinar event for only $25 (plus Eventbrite fees).

If you chose to be a VIP Question attendee ($50), you may email us your question(s) in advance for our moderator and we will present them to Mr. Ginsburg and Ms. Berg on your behalf. Ten of these slots are available.

There will also be a live question-and-answer session during the last 15 minutes of the webinar where all attendees can chat questions to Mr. Ginsburg and Ms. Berg live. These questions will be chosen at random.

If you miss the scheduled time, you will receive an email the morning after the event has closed with a link to watch the video at your convenience.

Register now and spend some quality time with two working television scribes, courtesy of the leading software for scriptwriters in the business, Final Draft, Inc.

About Aaron Ginsburg:

Aaron Ginsburg (along with his longtime writing partner Wade McIntyre) is a writer/producer who currently writes for The Finder for FOX (the Bones spin-off, premiering 2012).  Before that, he wrote on The Good Guys (FOX), sold an original comedy pilot to Spike TV, and wrote and directed a controversial web series, S.W.I.P.E., which was produced (and subsequently banned) by Fox Digital Studios.  Ginsburg & McIntyre also write features (their independent thriller InSight was released this summer). Before breaking into scripted television, they wrote award-winning videogames, reality TV, and crazy Japanese game shows.  Ginsburg just returned from Bogota, Colombia where he produced USA Network’s Burn Notice prequel The Fall of Sam Axe, starring Bruce Campbell. You can follow his adventures as @DrLawyercop on Twitter.

About Amy Berg:

Amy Berg is a writer/producer/geek hyphenate. She's worked her way up the producer ranks twice -- once as a half-hour writer at Nickelodeon and most recently as a one-hour dramatist on such shows as Eureka (Syfy), Leverage (TNT), The 4400 (USA), and Threshold  (CBS). Currently she's developing a miniseries, writing a pilot, and occasionally lending her awkward public speaking skills to such geektastic ventures as w00tstock. Berg has scripted kiddie comedy, soap operas, crime dramas, science fiction, and has also dabbled in comic books and feature films. She plainly needs to focus. Until then, you can find her @bergopolis on Twitter.
