Description
Global Giveback 2013, a project of LINGOs (www.lingos.org), provides an opportunity for international relief and development organizations to work with volunteer instructional designers, eLearning developers, and other learning professionals to design and create customized learning solutions and training resources that meet agency needs.
Every international NGO provides training and learning to its stakeholders, including staff members, not just new hires; field-based program participants; in-country collaborating partners; volunteers; board members; and supporters.
- Imagine how many more people you can reach with your agency learning if you don't need to train face to face?
- Imagine the increased resources for your beneficiary programming if you don't need to pay for as many face to face training events?
- Imagine the time saved just from traveling to and from one or two international training events and multiply that by participants of that one event, and apply that valuable time resource to your mission based programming.
That's the power of e-learning and blended learning... Global Giveback 2013 has volunteer instructional designers and eLearning developers signed up and eager to help international NGOs convert existing training resources to eLearning and help turn your imagined vision to reality.
Join LINGOs at this one hour webinar to learn how you can participate. Thursday May 9 from 11am to noon eastern time (same as New York).
Global Giveback 2013 is open to any not-for-profit organization working to improve people's lives in the developing world.
