About the Workshop

Startups looking to maximize their chances of getting funding from government granting programs need to understand the opportunities available, write excellent proposals that clearly communicate the purpose of the project, and to develop a rapport with the funders. Attendees of this hands-on workshop will leave with a better understanding of common grant opportunities for startup companies, their requirements, how to prepare the application, as well as tips on how to develop and maintain good relationships with granting agencies.

Northumberland CFDC's N1M Initiative (with the support of FedDev Ontario) is pleased to provide startups with this opportunity to learn directly from the team at the University of Toronto's Impact Centre.

Participant Profile

The workshop is tailored for founders or team members of pre-commercial and early-stage technology startups. However, all small and medium-sized enterprises are welcome. A maximum of 40 individual seats are available.

Other information

Lunch and coffee/tea will be provided.
