First Stage Holdings, a newly formed minority led early-stage venture capital firm based in Chicago, is launching its major economic development initiative targeting the residents of Chicago's mid-South Side neighborhoods.  The mission of the initiative is to educate, mentor, incubate, accelerate, invest and empower underrepresented technology and restaurant entrepreneurs from throught the African diaspora in the historic "Black Belt" of Chicago.
