Event description
The ongoing protests and unrest in South America vary in reasons and are as diverse as the countries themselves.

About this Event

In Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil, and Ecuador, the protests are aimed to address issues of economic, social, and racial inequality. Furthermore, natural resources are in the hands of an elite few and environmental concerns are not being met. In Argentina, the unrest was manifested mainly through the polls as the public grew discontent with their short attempt at a neoliberal government.

Come join us as we learn, discuss, compare and contrast motives of unrest throughout South America and where we see it all heading.
