The Indie Gala?
You've probably never heard of it, but it's happening for a 3rd time!
You've heard of small batch whiskey? How 'bout small batch pickles? We're doing small batch in a big way. We've handcrafted our #charityshindig with the same level of care and attention to provide community impact that's anything but small.
This year we support Franklin Street Works, an innovative not-for-profit contemporary art space located in downtown Stamford.
Last year we raised funds for Operation Hope, who provides services for the homeless in Fairfield County. Did you get to attend last year's gala? If not, check out our post-gala blog which includes pictures and links.
Let your friends know you're attending: RSVP to our Facebook event.
Here's what to expect:
Kick up your heels to a tasty mix of surf punk tunes by DJ Michelle Spinei.
Savor local handmade eats, treats, and
Drink Tasty Cocktails by Cointreau.
Rub elbows with regional artisans and fellow awesome people.
Explore our Indie Alley which features gifts and goods from regional artisans.
Order online and get up to $25 off the door ticket price! For group ticket rates, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you're bringing a friend, don't forget to register them online: tickets are $50 at the door.
If you'd like to donate to Franklin Street Works with your ticket purchase, then select "Ticket + Extra" and choose your donation.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This event is 21+ and we will be carding anyone under 40 years of age.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
You can find directions and parking information on our website.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please direct enquiries to: email@example.com
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
If you registered under your name you do not have to bring a printed ticket. Check in at our guest registration table.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Since the Indie Gala is a 21+ event, it is essential that every guest be registered individually by name. We must be able to validate attendees name and age against an existing form of ID.
When & Where
Stamford Innovation Center
As Connecticut’s premiere resource for community-based Innovation, The SIC team is always on the lookout for ways to engage members of the Northeast business and technology community. We want to be the resource where people go when they have a question about technology, careers, business, strategy, etc. We are here to help the tech and startup community where we work and live participate in global thought leadership communities centered around new technology and business models.
From our global entreprenurship work with Sikorsky Innovations, to executive events featuring national leaders like Steve Hafner of Kayak, VCs including Marc Michel, Skyler Fernandes, and David Teten, and classroom education on a wide variety of business, marketing and technology topics, our goal is to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to gain access to key contacts and for startup, technology, small business and enterprise professionals to learn and grow around skills that are critial, in a high-impact format that can't be matched by online courses or a traditional university.
If you have any ideas for a class you'd like to take or an event you'd like to see, please let us know by writing team (at) stamfordicenter.com.
