1. Key Note Speaker: Mohammed Elnaiem: fair trade in a new world economic order

Mohammed Elnaiem is s a PhD Candidate in Sociology at the University of Cambridge, who is training to become a historical sociologist with a focus on the history of capitalism and how the global order came to be. He is Director of the Decolonial Centre: For the full liberation from colonial thought and practice.

2. Chair and Speaker: Sophi Tranchell: Introduction to Pluto Journals and The Journal of Fair Trade: the Risks and Opportunities of Open Access .

Sophi Tranchell is an award winning Social Entrepreneur and campaigner for social justice and a long term advocate for Fairtrade. Former CEO of Divine Chocolate and Chair of the Fairtrade London Campaign, she is currently advising the 20+ radical journals published by Pluto Journals which are now all Open Access and free to read, on building their visibility, membership support and activist readership.
