WHAT'S BOILING IN FOOD INDUSTRY?

From farm to fork, the food value chain is long and involves multiple environmentally intensive steps-growing, harvesting, processing, transporting, distributing, preparing, and unfortunately, sometimes disposing. Each step in this chain creates greenhouse gases contributing to the existential crisis of our time, human-caused greenhouse gas emissions is linked to food.

The GlobaLink Food & Agtech Innovation Conference, co-hosted by Plug and Play’s Food & AgTech global teams, will focus on problems that face all of us, no matter the size of the company or your geographic location. Starting from the Expert session and Startup Pitches, the common thread of sustainability will be touched for different steps of the value chain: AgTech with GMO plants, AI-driven fermented ingredient optimization as well as new plastic additives for recycling.
