Event description

Description

The Equal Justice Committee welcomes your attendance at the 4th annual convening on "The Impact of Race in the Criminal Justice System."

This private event is the product of a collaborative team of professionals including judges, district attorneys, public defenders, and is supported by the Milwaukee Community Justice Council. By closing the criminal court operations, we are able to provide an exclusive opportunity for you and your colleagues across our system to hear and learn from 5 prominent leaders from across the state of Wisconsin whose work has played significant roles in the justice system and who have applied their experiences in building a better understanding of the impact of race within the criminal justice system.

Registration begins at 8am, and our first plenary session will begin promptly at 8:30am. Lunch will be on your own at 12pm, reconvening back in the auditorium at 1:30pm. There is no fee to participate in this conference, but RSVPs are required.

**No media permitted.
