The Immigrant Experience: A Spring and Fall Book Discussion Group
The PHC Book Group is back! Please join us for a six-session spring and fall series that focuses on our 2022 theme of immigration. We’ll be looking through both a national and state lens each month, using novels, memoirs, a book profiling groundbreaking immigrant chefs, and excerpts from Dear Maine: The Trials and Triumphs of Maine’s 21st Century Immigrants by Morgan Rielly and Reza Jalali. (A copy of Dear Maine is included with your registration fee!) Broaden your perspective on the immigrant experience and enjoy social time and refreshments. Facilitation by PHC director Larissa Vigue Picard.
