Dr. John, aka The Strength DOC, is an internationally recognized strength coach, speaker, and writer, whose work has been popularized throughout the sports performance and fitness industries in some of the most prestigious media outlets in our industry such as Men’s Fitness, Stack Magazine, and Muscle&Strength, to name a few. In the last two years, Dr. John’s most innovative work has been published in the online magazine Testosterone Nation, which has generated more than a million readers to Dr. John’s hybrid physical therapy based articles in the process. In 2015, Dr. John authored and published over 140 articles in the industry, focused on injury prevention and hybrid training methodologies. Through the course of his career, Dr. John has been certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Active Release Techniques, the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Functional Dry Needling and the Functional Movement Systems, where he has worked directly with the special populations unit and consulted as a movement specialist to aid in the programming and recruitment of hybrid strength coaches and physical therapists who believe and thrive in a multi-disciplinary model.
Coach Jared Markiewicz has owned Functional Integrated Training in Madison, WI for the last 4 years. In that short time, it has become one of the most successful performance training facilities in the nation, working with over 250 clients and hundreds of high school athletes. He has made a name for himself developing training systems that function to personalize group training. Through his studies at some of the top institutes in the fitness industry, such as the American College of Sports Medicine, Functional Movement Systems, USA Weightlifting, and EXOs Performance, he has developed a philosophy that is focused on performance without sacrificing quality.
