The Hunt
Event Information
Description
It is the night of The Hunt in the city of Brighthelmstone.
Its inhabitants are afflicted with an abnormal blood-borne disease that warps their minds and bodies until they are terrifying monsters - it falls to Hunters like you to stop them.
Can you slay the beasts, stop the plague, and escape this endless nightmare?
The Hunt is a standalone live action roleplaying game about hunting monsters, terrible blood curses, and unfathomable eldritch horror inspired by FromSoftware's video game Bloodborne.
Expect:
- Simple rules (great whether you're a complete LARP newcomer or total fest fiend)
- Moderate combat (but also plenty of gribbly mysteries and story to poke and explore)
- A big ol' scoop of horror throughout
Doors will open at 17:30 and the game will start at 18:00 and run until 22:00.
We must give you a safety briefing you before you can take part in the event, so if you arrive late you will have to wait until a crew member is free to do so before you start playing.

FAQs
Does The Hunt have a minimum age requirement?
Due to game's content and venue-based restrictions, you must be aged 18 years or older in order to play The Hunt (and as such we may ask to see ID on the door).
What are my transportation/parking options?
There are number of paid car parks in central Brighton, but the venue is a short walk from both Brighton railway station and a number of bus stops, so public transport is likely your best (and cheapest) option. There are also accessible parking bays behind the venue in Middle Street for badge holders.
What should I bring to the event?
You must provide your own costume - see the rules page for a few pointers to get you started. If you own them, bringing your own setting-appropriate LARP weapons and/or Nerf guns is recommend (although we will need to safety check these before you can use them in game). The loan of spare weapons and Nerf guns for use by the crew and other players is apppreciated, but please don’t bring more than you can personally carry - we are unlikely to be able to help you ferry them on the day.
