1) The Case for Coaching in HR - June 18 at 1:00pm ET: In Part I, participants explore what coaching is and how it is distinct and complementary to managing, training, and consulting. This session balances exploration of the business case for coaching with a thorough examination of International Coach Federation (ICF) core competencies: setting the foundation, co-creating the relationship, and communicating effectively.
2) The Coaching Skills Clinic – June 20 at 1:00PM ET: In Part II, we will focus on developing the mindset, behaviors, and skills to be a high-impact coach. Participants will learn how to facilitate a coaching session and develop the core skills of listening, questioning, strategizing, establishing trust, empowering, goal setting, and co-creating accountability. We will explore how to use coaching to get employees unstuck and to accelerate their performance.
3) Facilitating Feedback and Difficult Conversations – June 26 at 1:00PM ET; In Part III, participants focus their attention and development on using coaching in high-stakes workplace situations. They learn the do’s and don’ts of giving feedback that empowers employees to correct mistakes, identify and solidify high performance behaviors, and transfer insight into action and results. In addition, attention is given to utilizing coaching to diffuse conflict and repair broken relationships.
