The "How To" Workshop for Teachers Working with Students Who Read Large Print

Children with vision loss face a unique set of challenges in the learning environment. This workshop is designed to help general and special educators (grades K-12):

  • Identify the main characteristics of their student's eye condition
  • Recognize how this condition impacts the student's learning
  • Develop strategies to address individual needs AND
  • Improve the 'Universal Design for Learning' in his/her classroom(s)

Date: Wednesday, October 3, 2018

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration begins at 8:00

Location: DORS/BESB, 184 Windsor Ave, Windsor, CT 06095

There is no fee to participate!

Lunch is on your own and may be brought in or purchased at the micro café on site.

WIFI will not be available

Parking is in the main lot at can be accessed from the Windsor Ave. entrance (please see map).
