Dennis Pol studied in European conservatories, finally hooking up with stars of the New York jazz scene in the Netherlands. This led to his celebrated new album New York City, named for the title cut by Django Reinhardt. The Hot Club Series consists of a one-hour performance followed by an open jam that brings out the brightest stars in the regional jazz scene.
