The Hooch April
Sat, Apr 29, 2017, 9:00 PM – Sun, Apr 30, 2017, 1:30 AM BST
The Hooch returns on 29 April, when we’ll be welcoming back DJ Storm Mollison, who filled the dance-floor at our sell-out January night. Florida raised, London born Storm, a vocalist as well as a DJ, who has spent the past two years showcasing her music and DJ’ing her way around popular music venues, with DJ residencies at the Soho Houses, fashion parties, and renowned music venues like The Jazz Cafe and XOYO.
April will mark the Hooch debut of Pinstripe, who will kick the evening off with a fusion of Funk, Soul and Rock and Roll.
The Hooch is a nightclub that crosses genres and generations. Inspired by our mis-spent youth in clubs like The Wag, Taboo, Danceteria, Mud Club and of course the legendary Hoochie Coochie Club, we'll play everything from 1970’s Disco, 1980’s chart hits, 1990’s club classics to recent tunes that fill the floor.
Soul, Funk, R&B, Rare Groove through to the very best of Pop – everything that gets you up and moving.
Our desire is simple – let’s dance!
Do we have to bring our printed tickets to the event?
Yes. Please bring a printed copy as you will get through the door much faster. However, if you do forget to bring your ticket we can find you on the guest list and this is easier if you provide individual guest names when you place your order on eventbrite.
Is there a cloakroom?
Our aim is to provide a secure and enjoyable evening, but we can't guarantee the security of your belongings. We have an unattended and unmonitored cloakroom which you are welcome to use free of charge but all items are left at your own risk. To be on the safe side don’t leave anything of sentimental or financial value unattended.
Do you offer discounts?
No. Every Hooch has been a sell-out and every guest is special -they all pay the same price for advance tickets. We are a not-for profit, all-for-fun venture and 100% of ticket sales go towards paying the bands and DJs etc.
Can we buy tickets on the door?
We do not recommend this. Fire regulations limit the number of people we can allow into the Hooch and we take this seriously. If we do not sell all tickets in advance a small number of tickets may be available on the door for £15.00, but we can't guarantee this.
