Maybe you call this donor relations or cultivation or stewardship. But today, we’re calling this loyalty. And we’re claiming loyalty as the Holy Grail of any business, including fundraising. Unfortunately, donor retention is scandalously low sector wide. And it’s way past time to focus on this stunning failure of fundraising and fundraisers.
There’s nothing quite so good as loyal donors. Make sure you’re doing all you can to lead your organization to the Holy Grail. Thanks to the Agitators for reminding us of the right grail. There’s nothing quite so good as loyalty donors (and customers, too!)
