In this workshop students will be introduced to the ancient art of water marbling- a centuries old process that involves floating pigments on specially treated water. Working in large format trays, textile artist Mercedez Rex, will guide participants through how to achieve specific patterns using various tools. No experience necessary! This workshop is intended for all skill levels- from beginner to intermediate creative. All materials provided- participants will leave with five 18” x 24” sheets of hand marbled gift wrap.

*Note this workshop can get messy, students are encouraged to wear clothing they don’t mind getting paint on.
