THE HISTORY OF TOYS

A perfect school or camp trip visit for PreK - 3rd Graders. Combines learning, fun and a professional theatrical performance about the history of toys in a cozy and friendly theatre atmosphere. An enjoyable experience where we bring the Toy Museum to the stage for a live show that your students, parents and teachers will love!! Proven success with over 15,000 students annually who have seen the show which is engaging, educational and funny too. The performance is just under one hour. Curriculum based content. NYC's only toy museum experience. See old toys from "Then and Now", hear music, storytelling, see magic and watch imaginative play on the stage. Kids just love it! We can accommodate up to 400 people per show, great trip for the entire grade or camp. Souvenirs for all the students while supplies last. The Toy Museum of NY, established in 1999, is a certified 501(c)3 non-profit educational 'traveling museum' featuring touring exhibitions and educational programs. The mission is to educate the public on the importance of dolls and toys in our culture, history and art. Over 15,000 school children, parents and teachers annually enjoy the Museum's successful theatre performance, The History of Toys and their Distance Learning Program, enabling schools and senior centers from around the country to learn about toys through a video conferencing presentation.
