Join the Great Plains Black History Museum on the last Monday of each month at 12:00 CST for a 1hr Lunch & Learn on the History of the Divine Nine African American Fraternities and Sororities. Each month the GPBHM will host a discussion on the history of the Nine African American College Fraternities and Sororities:
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, founded at Cornell University Monday, February, 27th,
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, was founded at Howard University Monday, March 27th
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity was founded at Indiana University Monday, April 24th
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority was founded at Howard University Monday, May 29th
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity was founded at Howard University Monday, June 26th
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority was founded at Howard University Monday, July 31st
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity was founded at Howard University Monday, August 28th
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority was founded at Butler University Monday, September 25th
Iota Phi Theta Fraternity was founded at Morgan State University Monday, October 30th
