Join The Hill Center for an evening of storytelling in honor of our 40th Anniversary.
Curated and directed by local non-profit The Monti, storytellers with diverse connections to Hill will tell stories centered around the theme of COURAGE.
Proceeds support programs for students and educators who are courageous learners every day at The Hill Center.
Announcing the Hill Storytellers:
- Daniel Eron: Hill alumnus
- J.J. Johnson: author, and Hill parent
- Lee Hark: educator, and parent of Hill alumnus
- Ann Turnbull: Professor Emerita in Special Education at The University of Kansas
- Sara Gray Horne: veteran Hill educator
- Dawn McClendon: life-long educator

This is event is for mature audiences only, 21+.

Doors open at 7pm for General Seating and 6pm for Reserved Seating

Ticket prices include complimentary beverages, including beer and wine. See ticket descriptions for more information.

Light snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be available for purchase from 7-7:30pm and at intermission. Cash only.
ABOUT THE HILL CENTER:
The Hill Center was established in 1977 in Durham, North Carolina with a mission to provide an intensive remediation program for students with specific learning disabilities or attention deficit disorders. The Hill Center serves a range of K-12 public, private, charter and home school students, teachers, schools, and school districts through programs built upon research, individualized instruction, and successful teaching techniques with the goal of helping students reach their full potential.
