It’s that time again!

The Help’s Annual Gala Fundraiser will take place on Saturday August 3rd at 5pm at The Lex (lower level of Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. A Mardi Gras Masquerade Party with formal attire.

Shaun King; Journalist, Humanitarian, Activist and a Columnist for The Intercept and the Writer-In-Residence at Harvard Law School’s Fair Punishment Project will be our keynote speaker for the evening!

This year's theme is: "Unmasked; Women Behind the Conviction."

The evening will include a sit-down dinner, dancing, silent auction, prize drawings and a program featuring the stories of individuals who have overcome the stigma attached to incarceration.

The Help(KC) is a 501c3 charitable tax-exempt organization that assist formerly incarcerated women and or women with felony convictions. Its reentry program recently expanded its services to include women veterans who have been dishonorably discharged who face the same unique barriers as formerly incarcerated women.
