Event description

Description

The Healing Powers of Food:
A panel of experts from the medical, psychological and nutritional professions, moderated by Dr. Connie Johnston.

The connection between what we put in our bodies and the health of those bodies should be no surprise to anyone. However, what we hear today about health and nutrition can be confusing, and can even seem to run counter to long-held conventional ideas. Although “plant-based” seems to be the newest dietary buzzword, there is substantial long-term evidence of the benefits of this type of diet.

We invite you to hear from our panel of experts as they give their perspectives and answer your questions on physical and mental health and nutrition in the early 21st century.
